Recap: True Blood 3.04 – 9 Crimes

On Wednesday of last week, my grandpa was rushed to the hospital. He had two minor strokes on top of two “mini” strokes that he had sometime in the past.
We saw him on Thursday, and it was scary. He looked so frail and that’s not how he’s supposed to look, you know?
He was released on Friday, and I saw him on Saturday and he looked much better. The only areas that were affected were his short term memory and the sight in his right eye. He’ll be in rehab for both, and hopefully these things will right themselves (on Saturday he said his sight was a bit better), but right now he’s pretty much homebound since he can’t drive because of the sight issue.
I just wanted to thank everyone for the emails and stuff. He’s very important to me.

The front of my soon-to-be new condo. I’m lot A! And it’s on a street named ‘Ceylon’ that I will totally be pronouncing ‘Cylon’. (see picture below)
So the actual walkthrough and lender meeting went fine. It was a little scary because I was on my own for this. My grandpa is having complications from his diabetes all of the sudden, so my granny (who is the cosigner for my loan) was rushing him to the docs instead of doing the house thing with me. The panic/worry level I’m at right now is astronomical, to say the least.
Still no word yet on if Grandpa is okay or what’s going on, but it was super ass scary seeing him that way. My grandparents aren’t that old (like 60′s/70′s), and I’m not ready for them not to be there all the time. I don’t think I’ll ever BE ready for that, but you get what I’m saying.
EDIT:
So my grandpa is in the hospital because it looks like he had a couple of mini strokes and it had nothing to do with his diabetes. They are running tests on him right now and he’ll be there overnight.
Sorry if I owe you art and if you read my True Blood recaps for Fandomania, but everything’s on hold until he gets out and is better.
